✔ A hands-on dad who does his best to make time for his children.
✔ Dedicated to providing financially, yet still working to provide for his children’s emotional needs.
✔ The disciplinarian for all the things, but wanting to do things differently than your parents did.
If you said YES to any of these, I bet one of these is also true…
You’re a good father and have made progress to do things differently, but deep down you know there’s still work to be done.

You’re committed to doing the work and are ready to learn HOW you can be the father you WANT to be, the father your kids deserve, and the father you needed.

✔ Manage anger, and other emotions, in healthy ways
✔ Understand your nervous system and how it plays a role in how you respond or react
✔ Support yourself when you’re experiencing overstimulation, overwhelm, and stress
✔ Understand your belief system and how it plays a role in communicating
✔ Set your intentions as a conscious parent
✔ Reframe negative thoughts that arise in challenging moments
✔ Establish loving, firm boundaries rooted in your values
✔ Identify feelings and needs to communicate more effectively

Meet Your Facilitators
Jeri-Ashley Bremer, M.S. Ed.
Jeri-Ashley is a mama to multiples, mindful parenting expert, business owner, full-time educator, and community advocate who works with families and family-serving organization. As a product of a traditional upbringing, she is passionate about empowering others with the knowledge, tools, and skills to shift harmful family narratives that have been passed down by default—she calls this PURPOSEFUL PARENTING. Jeri-Ashley believes that when we, as the adults, consciously and intentionally show up for ourselves, we are better equipped to respond (instead of react) to triggering behaviors so that we can meet our children where they are at and empower them with the tools they need to flourish into their best selves. Jeri-Ashley has worked with and impacted the lives of over 10,000 school-aged children, parents, and educators over the last 10 years, focusing on providing each with the tools to be more mindful in creating strong, healthy relationships, while also maximizing each individual's strengths. Jeri-Ashley is a first-generation college graduate and holds a B.A. in Sociology from St. Mary's University and an M.S. in Education from Johns Hopkins University.
Juan Carlos DeLaRosa
Juan Carlos De La Rosa is a 30-year-old single-father who was born and raised in the Inland Empire. He is currently a IBEW Local 477 Electrician for the county/city of San Bernardino. As the oldest of three children in his family and the son of undocumented parents, he has intentionally begun to reflect on developing his action values as a father, son, and brother. This journey he has embarked on has allowed him to take on the challenge of being in uncomfortable positions, as he has questioned the notion of what it means to be a “man.” The struggle of taking part in intentional reflection has challenged many traits and behaviors of machismo that have been learned in his experiences with family, friends, and society at large. He has found himself now dedicated towards exploring ways of expressing his masculinity in healthier ways and breaking the generational cycles that have been perpetuated by the bind machismo has had on Latino men. Carlos is also the co-host of The Modern Macho podcast which is dedicated to creating a community of men that encourage, guide, and motivate other men towards self-growth, in all aspects of life.

Since this program is parent-centric, all are welcome! That means that the program focuses mostly on the parent and how you can show up as a more conscious father.
-
This program is parent-centric, meaning that the focus is on YOU and how you can create a more intentional relationship through the ways in which you respond and show up in your daily life with your child. I firmly believe that when we are more intentional in the ways we show up and respond before, during, and after challenging moments with our child(ren), it will create a strong foundation for the relationship we wish to have and the support we hope to provide.
-
Tools and strategies to help you 1) emotionally regulate, 2) communicate effectively, and 3) show up more consciously.
Understanding of generational patterns from your own childhood to better support you in creating transformational change that will impact generations to come.
Community of other men who are also doing the work, growing, and reflecting alongside you.
-
I use a multitude of practices and research in all facets of my work. All coaching and workshops are trauma-informed and are centered around 1) non-violent communication, 2) mindfulness, 3) emotional intelligence, 4) nervous system science, 5) child & brain development, and 6) attachment science.
It’s up to YOU to break generational cycles.
When they say, “This is how it’s always been,” you tell them, “This is where it ends and a new story begins.”
